A middle-aged Highborn Ishgardian man known as 'Lord Clavort" back in his homeland of Ishgard as head of House de Veaureaux, but often referred to simple as "Clav" when abroad.Kind, collected and the utmost gentleman with striking looks, Clavort is the storybook definition of what a prince charming would be, albeit not without his own of flaws but the man remains noble in both title and character no matter his ventures and encounters.Devoted to his House beyond compare, as well as to Ishgard, he always seeks to do what is best for both; however, with the influence of his younger sister, he began to see flaws in old traditions. Mind gradually opening to wider ideas, he began to push for more inclusive reforms but this was quickly toned down by members of the House. Following the development, for summers he would fake his ways and deceive the House with his ideals just to appeal until he finally became head of the House and began a rebellion from within.

Personality

Clavort is a mature, gentle and kind-hearted gentleman, unless pushed. Displaying exemplary decorum and etiquette in every gesture and words that are offered to others.A man of sharp wits and intellect, naturally given as well as honed throughout many summers if intense education, all tailored towards his future to be head of the House. Despite seeming and coming across as cold and stern, the man is anything but those. A warm personality, welcoming in conversation and to boarden his horizons, for knowing more only serves to benefit one. Embeded with strict teachings from birth, the future of his household as well as his nation are held close to heart. Family and integrity pivotal as well as continuing the legacy. His own wellbeing often set on a backseat to achieve his goals as well as that of his brethren.Despite the strict realities, the man is truly the ultimate gentleman and never does this falter even in the most dire of situations. Courteous and polite, he always presents himself with dignity and decorum, possessing a regal air about him. However, the man remains approchable and is kind to all he meets. Bearing in mind he is still Ishgardian at heart and won't ever tolerate those who lack proper respect towards his person or entourage. There is certainly a small air of grandeur around him even if he is not arrogant about it. But, being of Highborn blood, he is one to command authority with dignity and pride as well as backed up with summers of leadership.An affectionate man who is not shy to show emotions, he dotes upon those he loves and adores, spoiling them at every occasion he gets be it with attention or with lavish gifts; often proven with how he takes care of his page, Faith, despite the fact that she brings him to the brink of insanity.The man genuinely favours the fairer sex, often placing women on pedestals and appreciating their beauty with utmost respect. Not uncommon to see him indulging in their delicate company and offering flattery and compliments in the dozens. However, not to be mistaken with courting. The man merely shows his respect and appreciation towards women, but for him to genuinely be interested, he would make such very clear for the chosen one of his heart.

Appearance

One of the most striking features of Clavort are his piercing icy-blue eyes, which are a shared trait within the Veaureaux family. Yet despite their cold hue, they hold a warm gaze.Striking pale eyes and platinum blond hairs with a few white strands starting to appear, it is unclear if it is the man's age showing or perhaps overworking oneself. Certainly a workoholic for the good of others, having bags under his eyes is not uncommon, adding to his exhausted look as well as adding to his apparent age.Like most in his family, he is proud to grow and groom his facial hair, almost like a status symbol in itself. He sports a moustache and a small goatee , the first often twitching when bewildered or confused at moments. His facial hair is precious to him for when younger, he was often mistaken for his younger sister, much to his aggravation.Generously tall for his kind, the man towers over fellow Elezen with ease, but his physique a healthy muscle lean. Despite his service in the Order, recent developments had him focus far more upon his duties as Lord of his House, muscles giving slowly way for a more relaxed posture and body.Being Highborn, the man wears and favours regal garbs, most consisting of coats with intricate embroideries and ascots at the neck. No matter the tempetarure, his pedigree will always be on display with choice of attire alone. Frills, lace, jewels, cuffs, feathers; he gladly wears is all. His favourite colour being blue, which often shows, but it is not uncommon to see him wearing rich purples or blacks; always adorned with golden or silver accents.
